Union 76 is running a promotion where you download their app and they will give you ten cents off per gallon through the end of the year when you download and pay at the pump through the app. The Union 76 app is available in the Apple and Google Play stores. Discounts are available at participating stores.
One thing users will benefit from is the added security with paying through the app. Gas stations are seeing an increase in credit card theft through the use of card skimmers that get attached over the legitimate card machine. I won't bore you with the specifics of how the card numbers get stolen, but an app such as this will be an additional level of security of customers.
Note: Union 76 is owned by Phillips 66/Conoco. The app may be available at affiliated stations. I would suggest look for signage at the pump, as that was what I noticed this afternoon when filling up.
